760 Wins Tournament of Champions for Crysis Wars, Known as Best NA Team in the World!
Winning both final rounds against EvL by over 33%, 760 wins the Crysis Wars TOC and is crowned the top team in North America. Team EvL was comprised of ex-760 member gAtSu, ex-HS (Hostile Syndicate) member SOMBRA, and ex-solo public server champ GangusKahn. With our team made up of MasterBlak3, pHenoType, and Quest, we played a match with two of our players having connection problems but still prevailing.
Below you will find screen shots of the match...

A_M Can Now Also be Known as Arch_Enemy
A_M has been using his name for many years now and decided to change it up a bit to something different. So far people still know who he is by starting the change through XFIRE and in-game it appears to be working as well.
Amused, by DeftOne - Highest Ranked FarCry 2 Map
Our member DeftOne has made a killer map called Amused. As of February 17th, 2009, it has reached the status of being tagged as the highest rated custom FarCry 2 PC map of all time. Good job!
760 vs. =SC=
We had a scrim today against =SC=, a German team. We have played with some of their members before but never had a match. They are nice people and we have seen them improving a lot.
We first played Team Instant Action (Team Deathmatch), 6 of us VS. 6 of them, on the map Outpost and won.
Then we played them Power Struggle on the map Training, 5 of us VS. 6 of them, and won.
Our team has been improving the past month greatly and we have been making some new friends with a lot of these nice teams.
760 vs. CoP
Good match we against CoP. Nitti lead the team to a great victory. All our hard work and practice of tactics appear to have paid off. Their member PerfectLight had once applied to join our team but ended up joining another team and then going solo. Now he appears to be a member of CoP and most likely is regretting not joining us like he originally had made the motion to do.
Public Server Gameplay and Clan Name Changes
760 has been improving greatly and playing in public servers is not as much fun as it used to be, even when most of it is filled with other teams and not just the usual no-namers. It is getting too easy to take down several of them in these full servers with lots of chaos going on all around you. I think it was Nexus, on the other team, who ran into my Claymore Mine 5 or 6 times in a row when it was placed in the same exact place in the same exact doorway... do they not learn. Why do some of these teams play many more hours than we do and they still do not seem to improve?
We hopped in the server on February 5th and the opposing team had everything captured and 90% energy. TwentyEight, who just joined days before and used to be part of the WAR clan/team, and I ended up capturing both bunkers and then captured and held Proto until we nuked them in the end. Where is the challenge?
Aside from boring "public servers," some changes have been going on within the community. The clan/team Cry-On has now changed their name to [-LiA-]. They used to have their home at the very popular community site, crysis-online.com, but the owner of that site has given their team little support so they jumped out of there and started their own thing. To my understanding, they are taking most of everyone, if not all, from Cry-On, to form their new thing. With them being good friends of ours, we will put a link and baner up to their new website as soon as they have one up.
